A few years back Jeni and I got to visit London, and discovered some interesting statuary.

This statue of Abraham Lincoln stands in Parliament Square. It's an exact replica of the one that stands in Lincoln Park in Chicago. I thought that was pretty cool.
In visiting Westminster Abbey, we saw this:

Charles Darwin is (as far we know) the only agnostic buried at Westminster Abbey. He shares space with people like Isaac Newton, William Wilberforce (who led the abolition of slavery in England), a whole lot of kings, queens, earls, writers, and poets.
Anyway, happy birthday to both of them!

It's my favorite comic of all time, and they talk about Darwin today, too. Awesome? Yup!
